All of these are freely avilible on the Internet you paranoid dimwits , love that word should put in that other thread think I will!

So you're a liar too, not surprising!

Your very first post "I am randomly taking photos of landrovers" ...

You try and say it's all legal and now you're using lifted photo's from the internet without the copyright holders permission .. it seems it's you that's the dimwit.

No I think your missing the point it doesn't
Take a photo for someone to decide to take a car

I'm not saying that it does, if you read again. what I am saying is that you are putting a heap of vintage cherished vehicle photos in one place, with visible numberplates!
A) allowing numberplates to be cloned for type specific cars
B) allowing a thief a catalogue in his armchair to browse his vehicle of choice

It's not rocket science what I'm saying, by publishing the numberplates without permission you are in breach of data protection act such that CCTV owners have to advertise that they are taking your data (your car details in image form) you are taking data in photographic form without owners consent and publishing on a site
Should the owners decide they do not want you to take a photo and you continue to do so you can also be done for harassment
It's on data protection and also uk street photographers law
If you take a photo of a property whilst standing on their threshold or boundary line it is classed as invasion of privacy

Still up me darlin? Cos I am wiped out. Just hitting the sack.

I like to think outside to box. Who wants a thread full of bog standard vehicles? Rather see things that are a bit unusual.

Would that not be the same for the captions , pictures, and videos of naked women on this site and all other lifted items! Or is it just me go read the terms on copyright fair usage!

No, it's just you. Trying to wriggle and claim what you're doing is OK when so many people plainly think it isn't.

You're a fool.

Dude I outlined the street photography law at the top of this page, and while it's fine to publish photos of numberplates in Australia over here you are wandering in a grey area, you have to declare to persons you are gathering data (data protection act) And publishing said data, there is a potential you could if a person objects be sued, and whilst there are no previous cases for this happening, there is the groundwork and case for persons to do so.

You are obviously basking in the controversy of the thread you have presented, but really? Do you want to upset further? Just scrub the numberplates on photoshop, you can even do it on a phone with paint fx app
Or.. Contact the owners, as you did say any dimwit could, and ask if the mind you publishing a photo of their car, they aren't at a show, they are minding their business in their private lives
Or..ask the forum members to take acceptable photos of their vehicles that they dont mind putting up

not really the numberplates are allowed to be public domain information this is why theyre in such large font screwed to your vehicle on public show

to clone any vehicle you need the v5c wich if you dont have it you will have to apply to the dvla wich they will contact the curent registered keeper at the noted adresse to ask why the vehicle has been sold without the v5 logbook their contact will be by letter informing you of this asking you to contact them by fone to explain and get your side of the story if you state you havent sold the vehicle then they contact vosa and the rozzers and the person asking for the v5 gets ****ted

this is what ive learned from my personal experience with the landy ive bought and restored without a reg or logbook wich started such an investigation and fooked up a ringing operation for some fukker somewhere

ask yourself this if you saw a pic of a landy similar to your pride and joy with your reg when you know full fekkin well yours is in the garage or carport locked up and hasnt been anywhere for weeks

would you still say this thread is wrong :confused:

Yeah it is still wrong because someone could still look down this thread look at a correct numberplate look at car type colour type make up some fake plates stick them on said bogus car do petrol drive offs, your nice legal landy is now shown to be on a petrol forecourt driving off without paying, those are the people that aren't asking for v5 forms to be sent, but just making up numberplates specifically for thefts
These people aren't necessarily going to sell the cars they have but making their nicked cars look legit by using your details
The point myself and a few others were possibly trying to illustrate was why make it easy for them
All this thread had to do was scrub the number plate or go for a side on view, and pictures on people's driveways are actually classed as invasion of privacy.
Scrubbing the numberplate takes two seconds to do and doesn't upset people about their lovely truck being placed on a thread that they don't know about or want

im not trying to fight anyone elses battles and hate to burst yer bubbles but you cant get a number plate made unless you have proof of ownership such as the v5 and an mot cert or a valid insurance document then show yer driving lisence its near impossible

any feef would just nick yer plates instead as its cheaper easier and less hastle

so if theres no indication in the pictures shown on this thread as to the location of these vehicles then whats the problem :confused:

you can on the internet, and you can buy reflective backing and self adhesive letters and numbers at any car accessory shop, as i myself have done this

When you change owner ship of car the dvla will alert the previous owner I'm sorry to burst your ever so small bubble the fact is I am not doing any thing wrong maybe morally in your eyes and who says that any photo that I took was not without permission like ones outside propertys or even owned it previously it not good assuming anything untill you actualy know true facts.
