I have an ex utility company TD5 defender 110, the VIN number shows that it is an extra heavy duty spec, i can see that it has a beefed up chassis but is there any way I can find out what other parts are non standard, especially suspension, axle parts etc as i am thinking of overhauling them this summer and want to avoid any issues with incorrect part numbers etc

Regards

David

All 110's leave the factory with a Rover front axle Same as Disco and RRC. rear axles are always Salisbury axles. If yours is missing someone may have fitted a disco axle to get the discbrakes..

Late 110s dont have a salisbury.

All the ex utility hd 110s Ive seen have 130 dual rear springs, but that dont mean nothing with sv rovers

Hmm, when did they make sailsburys with disks?

I will have a look for the plate and contract number, i know the log book and plate behind the radiator header tank mentions 3500kg, i think it is usually 3050Kg, maybe the special vehicles mod wasthe two lockers on either side with external access
