Sorry I haven't been on here for a while I was on holiday last week.

Well carried out the Mod and the engine hasn't over heated yet, this includes doing 80 miles yesturday with a horse and trailer and all the stuff that comes along with a horse.

with the exception of a flat battery after it sat on the drive for a week, it started fine and ready to go.

I also had a second opion on the head gasket fault, the garage did a pressure test and said all was ok.

These cars don't like weak batteries and can react badly to jump starts so I'd suggest that you sort your battery issues out fairly quickly.
