Hi all, got my 90 today, and have found nowhere to put any speakers, dont want any in the back, just in the cab area, any ideas on where to put them, there are no door speakers already there, there is just one miserable little thing balancing on the edge of the cab headliner, up and to the right of my head. any ideas - dash mount? cut into door cards? greatful for help always, cheers...

Plenty of people mount them into the underside of the dash. You'll get the best sound from there because of the enclosed but vast cavity behind which will reproduce good bass reflex. Mine are in the headliner above my head on each side and they sound absolutely tinny and ****e! Can't hear the radio for the engine anyways. If you were to mount them in the doors you'd have the problem of routing the wires somewhere where they can't get nipped when the door open and closes, plus the very likely possibility of them getting absolutely soaked and perishing in no time. Water runs down through the inside of my doors and out through various holes at the bottom. You could be clever and make yourself two well sealed enclosures from a bit of MDF and then mount them behind your seats on the rear bulkhead.

if ye decide on the second option, ye might want to get a couple of spacer rings for the speakers;) :D

Do you have yours in the dash or up in the headliner Buster? I'm thinking about sorting mine out cos I'd like to start listening to the radio! Only problem is fishing the wires through the dash and out the holes!

These are pretty loud, even in a 110 pos;) :D

The other ones that a showed a piccy of are in the white bus, but ah've never heard them as there's no radio left in it:D

ah forgot to say that the green bus never had a radio fitted from new (or at least ah don't think so!!!) so ah had to wire one in meself. Wasn't to bad a job to run some speaker wire though, ah just used some stiff wire with the speaker cable taped to the end of it;) :D

Thanks for the pic Buster, I'll have a look around for some; look ideal.

Didn't know that Harmon Kardon did car speakers Grunt?

I put my stereo in cubby box, bolted the amp to the rear of cubby box (nice and handy for the battery) stuck the 6x9s in boxes purchased from theloudest.com and blted the boxes to the floor in the rear and its bloody loud and i got me ipod hooked up too :D
