I put my stereo in cubby box, bolted the amp to the rear of cubby box (nice and handy for the battery) stuck the 6x9s in boxes purchased from theloudest.com and blted the boxes to the floor in the rear and its bloody loud and i got me ipod hooked up too :D

yeh those 6x9's look alright back there, that looks like a good idea, are those the only speakers you got in there??

30 watts, isn't going to get you very far, mr mad hat man. although if thats all you want to spend it is probably the best you will get. i dunno much about landys yet but i do know a bit about sound systems. if you have more to spend 6 x 9's in a box would do the trick very nicely.

If yu do then yu will realise that trying to fit anything decent in a vehicle is a waste of time and money! the frequency response of the interior of a vehicle is about the worst possible scenario to listen to any music.

I mounted some standard 6x9's in the roof in the back of my landy and they work great. I'll try to remember to take a pic tonight. I just made some brakets out of ali.

as i said, i know a "bit". but the last systm i put into my old car was pretty good, i spent arround £500 and didn't regret it. i would agree that cars are not perfect to listen to music, but hearing this, i wasn't complaning. and i am still claiming that 30 watts wont get you far although good for the money.

ang aboot

i've got 4 sony 25w speakers in me 110 - 2 behind the seat and 2 under the rear windows (in the angle behind the rear lights) just mounted on 5 ply which is shaped to fit the contours + a £79 explod head and a £10 ebay boomy box which is under the raised floor in the back - and i've never needed it higher that just under half way up and that's at 70 - spending big bucks is pointless in a landy but you deffo dont need lots of watts

and peeps who have xboxs up front need locking away

yeh sory for the xbox i got a bit carried away, i'm not saying you need to spend big bucks, but hat man wanted to get excited about frequency response! (WTF?)

and he was right to, dont know if you've noticed but the back of a landy isnt like the Albert Hall

and Sean, by the sound of it, you have a great system, i just needed bigger, thought i could **** off the neighbours some more! lol

mine cost about £100 total and was put together with very little real thought other than the need to hear the footy

fare enough mate, i have an obsession with loud music... what more can i say ,other than i am not one of those types that goes through the middle of town with windows down blareing crappy music etc... promise. although i do that sometimes when no one is about, in the middle of nowhere, on a hot sunny day.
