Doncaster has 5 lanes, Barnsley has 5, most of which are dead ends anyway, and I've still to properly check Rotherham and Sheffield, but I suspect similar or I'd have probably known or driven most of them by now, so in reality it's probably a pretty easy position to fill!

And dont think you are getting away with South Yorkshire, I need help with North Yorkshire, particularly the North York Moors. I've got two National Parks ffs

If its any use to you I live near Barnsley and can check the lanes out. We drove one (up to where it was completely blocked by a fly tipped kitchen) and have walked part of another (blocked by a load of farming equipment) recently and I understand the status of some others are being reviewed at present.

Hi Paul,

No worries, Ill be interested to find out which other ones are allocated as byways around here and have a look at them- there is some information available on the internetweb via the Barnsley council website but its not very clear.

Stacey's asked on Facebook if anyone minds swapping the workshop meet to Tuesday this week, it'll make it easier for her, and no-one's objected so far,

So to confirm .. The up-coming Workshop meet is Tuesday the 14th October, this week only .. ;)
 
Great, that suits me better. Hope Tim's ok with it to fix my decals. Now need Tuesday to be fine to practice fit/unfit my wheel and door arches lol

i would like to come to the next meet also interested in joining in any laning trips around derbyshire and south yorkshire, i like in renishaw near j30 m1 i have a 300 tdi defender.

could someone pm me the details about the meets on a monday night

Family come in handy for some things lol
Just had to come down to my brothers to use his computer so I can see what is going on lol.
I don't drink so lanes or workshop is good for me :D.
Will have to keep poping down to bro's to keep eye out on here lol.
 
Smiley might be offroad still on Monday. Not that it makes a difference. Both Sharon/Clive and Gaz have expressed an interest in coming along so I get a lift there/back no matter what we do lol
Have also got the option of coming there in the Disco to show show off Tim's handiwork. Top job done again by TopCat ��������

If we finish my head gasket/fettling and remember to fix the reverse gear (so it can reverse!) then I might make laning .. otherwise I'll get to the workshop somehow .. :)
 
Got a bit of welding done today, got soaked in the process too im easy either way if we dont do the lanes then we'll definitely have to arrange a time and day soon
