Ey up mark is it still ok for mi dad to bring his to the next meet again for an mot? its a urheeeeerm......................mitsubishi

hes asked if you could re-gas his aircon aswell if thats ok?

My 90 has '240' aircon, never needs a re-gas.
2 windows down at 40 mph!!

Yeh even with the front 2 (and only opening) windows down its like a greenhouse, google delica and you`ll see what i mean ;)

Even the disco dosnt get as hot and the rear windows are of course broken in good old disco style!

Got some interesting stuff for the Coast to Coast, filling in the missing bits etc. Still working on it, but the whole thing is almost sorted now!

Might need some money off people for deposits, I've booked campsites and I'm gonna confirm them all Tuesday. Only waiting for one reply, but it's the last camp and not too important, the first three are pre-booked for us, just waiting confirmation and deposits.

I've worked it, as we discussed, as a four night, three day event. Arrive at first camp, near Seascale, Friday night so we can have an early start, drive up and down and through the Lakes so we again camp after 100 ish miles. Start early again, drive through North Yorks/Dales etc and camp later after about 80 miles. Third day finish up at Robin Hoods Bay and either bugger off home, or camp again and meander slowly home taking in some North Yorks moors lanes, some probably extreme, and looking for new lanes on our way back to Doncaster .. ;)

As others have done, people might drop in and out along the way, but I'm not publishing the full route yet, Seascale to Robin Hoods Bay via Kirkby Stephen and Northallerton is as close to it as I'll say for now .. ;)

See you all Monday .. ;)

Oooo sounds like a busy week end, cant wait :)

This is a pic of the final route. There are a lot of twists and turns and a fair amount of roadwork, but there are also some cracking lanes. Every Byway/Lane has been checked via trailwise and only a couple are suspect due to the nature of reporting on trailwise .. they're all legal, any with TRO's have been bypassed, the only suspicions are whether lanes can be driven due to foliage or potential vehicle damage, which will be down to ground conditions on the days! This route, whilst similar to many on the internet, is different in that it's taken into account any new TRO's up until yesterday!

The first lane is within a mile or so of the Friday night campsite, and is a tidal river crossing .. which needs to be checked out Friday afternoon/evening. The second lane is also a tidal river crossing which is supposed to be much firmer, but I'll still check it out Friday. Neither, however, are the full Morecambe Bay crossing ...

Looks an awsome route paul, big thanks for taking the time to plan/research it as I know you also busy with your 90 too,
What sort of price are we looking at for camping etc? Just so I can plan my funds ;)

Should be way less than £50 for the four nights. Still waiting for the last camp price in, sent a few emails but nothing yet !

Should know exactly, hopefully, by Monday.
