Hi guys,

Hola from East Yorkshire here

Just want to say Ive been browsing the site for the last few weeks and just want to say what an amazing site packed full of Landy Info!

Never ever thought Id want a Defender but after having one for 5 days and driving around Northumbria, WOW! What a vehicle!
We have a 2014 Defender 90 for 5 days with a rooftop pop up tent and it was amazing!

Ive started checking around and trying to find a few deals very limited at the moment with a £10k budget lol

This is my fave...Ive been in what's app convo with the seller, he bought it from a defender specialist and added some upgrades, his sent me lots of photos of before/after, videos on the underside, engine running etc. Only concern here is the mileage and also how often would the timing belt/chain need changing on a 300tdi engine?

Yeh I saw the MOT history - seller has done lot of changes - new exhaust and silencer, adjusted fuel pump, fuel injectors, gearbox/transfer box, springs, fuel tank.

I'd want a very serious investigation of the chassis and bulkhead, do the usual VIN checks etc

Have you checked the ebay feedback on the seller of the white one? He only has 100% positive because he hasn't sold anything in a year!

plus 1, also indeed as mentioned with regards to previous mot history , personally wouldn’t touch it seeing back in 2014 there were reports of excessive rust, also it’s had a colour change from blue to white , but alas don’t think that makes much difference

but as u also say ref the vin and full HPi check

noticed no video taken of the front underside/ engine

theres usually a reason they bling a motor up, look at those impressive wheels! usually to distract you from something more sinister, did i mention those shiny new wheels?

Yes its got some nice fancy bits on but 156k on the clock and a G reg :/

That white one would make a nice addition to a recovery truck. Look damn nice though

If it has been looked after 157k is nothing. Mines done 207k and it’s had the oils changed 3x in the last 5 years covering only 6k

. I can’t imagine you’ll find one in budget with 32k on the clock.

Well don’t hang about. Honest farm trucks akin the ones Mike and Ed bought for wheeler stealers are becoming rarer. I guess it depends whether you want instant bling or are prepared to do modifications etc yourself.
