well after all the silly questions over the last week, i finally picked up my land rover 90 yesterday!
so far i think its great. love it (Even tho it needs a few things sorting)

its a 3.9 V8 1985 lr90
raised 2" (not sure what shocks or springs)
33" tyres
tree sliders
i think mod wise thats it so far.

plans are..
guards (steering, tank, diff)
a full new suspension kit, probably with dislocating cones etc
full service and grnerally tidy it up abit.

at the moment it needs a few things doing to it.

needs new rear diff, which is almost sorted
i have a new prop shaft to put on
need to get the fuel gauge working
replace the power steering tank (leaking like mad)
and i think the front UJs might need doing also

here it is as it stands now..

Very nice. But can I ask why it needs a new suspension system? what's wrong with the current one.

its raised 2" but on standard shocks.
front shockers are abit past their best to.

i could buy 2" longer shocks and cones and longer brake hoses but all that comes not far off the same price of a full kit again, so i figure it would be easier to buy the full kit, rather than shopping around for different bits.

your unlikely to need cones on a 2" lift. +2" shocks definately and extended flexi brake hoses if he's not already done so.

all the other barry boy cars... your mate does take some good photos though. dont like his photoshop work :(

atleast you got a V8 90. are you going to get it muddy?

G

yup will be muddy as soon as the diff is fixed.

i dont see how a 200SX set up for drifting can be barry?
nor a MR2 turbo..
just my opinion

REDHAND - Why are you suggesting he would not need cones? Perhaps not at the front, but at the rear if he's doing any seriousish offroading he almost definately will. I only have a +2" lift and am glad i have dislocating cones!!
