is no one selling p38 snorkels in the uk
Why would they? It's pointless, P38's don't like water with the BECM and other ECU's under the seats, the unprotected height sensor connectors etc etc.is no one selling p38 snorkels in the uk
there must be a way of waterproofing the sensors if not then its pretty much useless as a 4x4
as long as you dont go through any big puddles or floods
i know with the pajeros used to cover electrics with vasaline to prevent water getting in at them but with p38s no so sure as they seem to have a mind of there own
bang goes the laning trip to the lakes then looks like it will be a tarmac trundler then20 inches is absolute max recommended with precautions. So basically if ducks can walk across the water it's ok, if they float it's to deep.

What other use is there for a snorkel???
Originally mine didn't even like heavy rain which used to affect one height sensoras long as you dont go through any big puddles or floods
sorry for the ignorance but is that you de-activate the eas when you cross waterBelieve me water enters intake much faster than it goes to the BECM. I've been in water with the P38 enough to know.
Good seals, silicone on the door bottom holes near the lamps.
No problem at all with height sensor but i desactivate EAS everytime i cross water.
Only problem i have i the headlights that do not like water.
But if the system goes to change heights/re-level and cos you have shut off the valves the vehicle doesn't respond - it will fault...could you not just install a set of by pass valves with a shut off attached then when off road you could close them and it wouldnt drop
