snap on tools and tool box

The lot WITH the top box owes me a few pounds over £2000.. the top box was sold for £200 (which im sure everyne would agree is about right)
leaving the rest owing me 1800
Now my new price is 850 which is less then 50% of what it owes me.
All genuine reasonable offers considered but plesse i dont want to waste anymore of your time if you only think its worth £500.

Its not worth the hassle mate imagine the ball ache of wrapping and posting each thing then sods law as soon as i sell some thibgs someone will come along and say "if you still got the lot ill have it"
So seems its not costing me nothing (no monthly finance payments) ill just keep hold of it if it doesnt go for what i want.

its only worth what someone is prepared to pay, and your not flush with offers.... we are in a recession :mad:
 
Might aswell put it in public save same question getting asked.. all tools the lowest i can go is 300 at a very push 285
Iv been offered 150 for spanners and allen keys alone so far on another forum theyre advertised on.

I'm about to list a load of stuff on egay, having a garage and shed clearout. If I get anywhere near what I want for it all I'll have the funds for your box and tools. Only the auctions won't end for 10 days, ,if you can wait that long...
 
All tools are now sold. Just the box remains.. i am happy to palletize the box up for courier if buyer arranges courier.
The rough weight of the box is 110kg (according to snap on website) so add 15kg for pallet (bit overkill i know but better under weight then them refusing it)

So you spent £2000 on snap on tools to do one project and now you want to get your money back 'cos you don't have the Land Rover anymore. :crazy:

Most mechanics buy Snap on for the quality and robustness of the tools that will take the hammer of using them day in and day out in a busy garage, and have the support of the Snap on man in the van that calls every week.

You would have been better off buying tools designed for the home worker and spending the other £1700 on your Land Rover or beer or prostitutes, all would have been a better use of the money.
