Cheers for pics mines a fl1 .. will check the sensors today for any signs of corrsion etc appreciate the help ladsWhat Freelander do you have FL1 or FL2, crank sensor on the FL1 is low down towards the right when looking into the engine bay.

so maybe check the wiring or connector for corrosion or being wet,?

To be fair mate im not purposely splashing through them at speeds or anything just ment as the water splashes bak up into the car .....
Under tray is installed yes am jjst trying to get to the crank sensor as we speak .. am i gonna have 2 come from underneath please bare with me as my mechanic skills only go bak about 3 weeks hah
