Bang on, mate. You drive to Granada then take the mountain road up to the resort. The resort is called Pradollano. First time we've stayed up in the resort. Just me and the Mrs now. When our sons came with us we'd hire a little house in one of the villages just outside Granada like Monochil ie Pino Genil. Very cheap to rent. 10 mins in to Granada Carre Four for food and drink supplies. Great value for money and epic fun. We've always found the locals warm and friendly.(you're off the tourist track doing that sort of stuff)

I don't think I've given my specific home location away.
My Landy, in itself, is very well protected.
My three sons are all still at home. They are all over six foot tall and two of them play first team rugby. Please, for your own safety, accept that I'm not making that up.
They know how much I love my Trattor. It is their fourth sibling.

With you all the way there, marra. We live in a small rural village, which we love. But, there's no mains gas. Horse drawn stage coaches just stopped about 10 years ago and the women in the pub just stopped smoking clay pipes last year. :eek:

If I have to have electric, I prefer the old solid induction rings, they give a good heat, the only disadvantage of them is that they take ages to cool down.
If I lived in a rural house again, I think I would use Calor, not for heating, that is arms and legs, but a 47kg gas bottle lasts for ages on just a cooker.

Try not to worry - I am not a car thief lol. My mate has a place in Monochil, Granada is an amazing place - ski in winter and 45* heat in the summer. We - as in me and the wife - are off to Spain on Thursday for a long weekend - we have a place in Arroyo and try and get there as often as possible. Never fancied skiing but I do hope the weather us dry!

On a more worrying note - you used the word "marra". That is slang for friend in west Cumbria - have you spent time here?

Well, only a tad disappointed as they did not have the tuna on the menu. I'd read about it on trip advisor. Not to worry, superb little restaurant. We both had their homemade burgers with custom toppings, chips, salad etc and two big beers. Came to €25.80 :D Great atmosphere and service too.

I know you're not a car theif :rolleyes: I was referring yo the forum bots that scan the website to record where people live and when they are away from home.

Wow, what a small world. We've stayed in Monochil a few times:) It was in a little house called Los Abuelos. Had a lovely open fire with as much olive wood as you wanted. :)
Marra is a Geordie term for friend. Actually, it's normally reserved for people who are very close friends and who you are fond of. It's a contraction of 'bone marrow'. Meaning a friend who is as close to you as your bone morrow. It's a Geordie term, but they might use it in cumbria. Doubt it though.

Marra has the same meaning here also ( Cumbria )- from the pits I was lead to believe
