it's not illegal to sell or own a V5 and numberplate

what IS illegal is to fit them to a vehicle that is not basically the original (also known as ringing)

the problem nowadays is most Series landrovers are a minimum of 30 years old, many have had an awful lot of the original parts replaced in it's lifetime which leads us to the "triggers broom" effect

That's not so 'trigger's broom' as 'trigger burnt his broom then went out and bought a vacuum cleaner but stuck the original price sticker from the broom onto the Hoover' effect.
