Thats a great idea. Thats exactly what I’ll do.
Mmmm series 2a

It’s often said the S2a is the pinnacle of series for styling etc. I had a 109 and it was a beast but just something about that setup was so nice. Loved the ignition switch with the power settings. You moved so slowly it didn’t matter what speed you’re doing. It was my first landy. In Shetland, empty single track roads etc it was brilliant. Happy days.

Over the last couple of years have restored my 2A. In 95 someone replaced the bulkhead and wings with series 3.
I adapted the bulkhead. Grafted on the dash from a series 2. Adapted the windscreen hinges etc. It can be done.

Apologies, slight hijack here - question to Cornish Rattler on your photo above - where did you get the roof lining with the radio and speaker mounts from or is this another home made masterpiece. Found some fibreglass ones in Scotland but they appear very expensive (£350 - £400). Might be the same ones as they look a bit similar but the speakers on the others appear further back next to driver/passender heads. Cheers....Ian

Get one made. Two strips of ply and a hole saw and your 90% there.
