Hi guys abit of help needed. The rear brakes on my 2a keep locking on. If i undo the bleed nipple they free off but as soon as you push the pedal again they lock on again ??? Could this be the master cylinder. Any help will be much appreciated thanks muchly

check to see if they are adjusted right first ,,ie ,,back the adjuster off then try them ,allso check adjustment in pedal ,,
i take it that the brakeing system is non servo ?

^.^^^What he said plus make sure there is some play in the master cylinder end, the push rod needs a little bit of float

does the pedal definitely return fully ?? if it's not returning fully there could be your problem (the pivot can and does partially sieze up)

also it's a 2a so it's well over 40 years old, has the flexi pipe to the rear axle ever been changed ?? if not it could be ballooning inside and restricting the return flow (acting as a one way valve)
