The front panel had taken 5 coates of primer, and hours of wet and dry to flatten out the pitting but well worth the effort ! Its now ready for blue paint along with the bulk head. Hope to have them back end of next week.

Slave clutch cylinder cleaned and put back together with a new seal kit, new bleed nipple and re zinc plated union bolt. So easier to buy a replacement part but you cant compare it to the origional !

Great use of a trampoline there! I'll have borrow ours from the kids when the time comes.

Well how happy was I yesterday when I get the call from the painters to say the bulkhead and front panel were ready! Couldn’t wait to finish work and get it fitted !

Clutch pedal box back together and new chassis loom pulled through. Encased the loom in a length of rubber hose that I cut down the middle just to make sure that it doesn’t rub inside the box chassis.

Well I have to admit all that primer, wet and dry and elbow grease really paid off ! There isnt a blemish on the front slam panel !

Filled the gearbox and transfer box and 2.5lts of oil ended up on the floor ...grrr looks like the handbrake output seal was not doing its job! Took it apart and it seems that the Corteco seal wasnt that tight on the output flange shaft (hmm that sounds well dirty) lol anyhow ordered a genuine landy one and boom ! Seals as tight as a ducks arse ! Now there’s something you dont see often ! A dry drip tray under a landy
