Only disappointment with the galv is that the anti rattle closers for the rear door melted away ! They must have been made from poor quality casting but all is not lost will gring and drill them out and get new bolt on ones.

Rear tail gate and seat box prepared and ready for top coat of blue.

This is what I did yesterday. DA’d the bonnet inside and out ready for fetteling a few dents with some hammering and filler, to be honest its in pretty good nick.

Seat sliding rails have been sand blasted, and primed. Any idea what finish they should be ? Seen some people spraying them silver / chrome but when I blasted them I noticed some black paint / powder coating ? Should they be black ? Any advice would be greatly received

Looking really well, not far away now , I’d love to see the mot mans face when that drives in

This is what I did yesterday. DA’d the bonnet inside and out ready for fetteling a few dents with some hammering and filler, to be honest its in pretty good nick.

was that a sanding disc to remove bonnet paint or some type of scrubber disc, sorted it nicely

the seat runners are glossy black , spray rather than heavy brush
