Is there a cheaper alternative to the rubber strips that seal top and bottom side to tub and side to roof?, at £16 each that would set me back £64! ,

Ideally I would like a roll of strip that would cover both , I learnt the hard way after Christmas presents were damaged by rain and wind blowing water into the dry cracked existing seals ! , I wasn't popular on Christmas morning .

Happy new year .

Thanks in advance .

I think you might be a bit stuck for the side-to-tub seals, due to the shaped profile and the way the seal fits into the metal 'gripper' on the side panel.
The roof-to-side, however, is a simple flat abutment, and so I think you'll be fine with a roll of 1" (or so) wide neoprene self adhesive strip.

I used rolls of self adhesive neoprene strip. They come in all sizes. The side to tub has to be a big one. I squeezed it in the recess on the side panel so it stuck out of the bottom 5mm. That made a nice crush seal on the tub cap when the roof went back on.
I cant remember the exact size but just made sure it was five or six mm bigger than the recess in both directions.
