Series 3 109 fuel tank outrigger missing??

Hey, just gone to install a factory fuel tank in my ex Australian series 3 109. And it seams to be missing the outriggers, and no evidence they were ever there. Any one got any ideas to why .

Some bleeder did a chassis refurb and couldn't be arsed ? I have had outriggers and tank supporting brackets missing on vehicles in the past.

Yes those are the ones, I'll have to add one on. Just thought it was strange.

It all depends on the history, are there signs of a new rear cross member ? or fabrications on the chassis.

Series three has the tank in the rear.

Depends on the year?
My '73 had the tank on the driver's side.

No no signs of modified chassis
