Series 2A windscreen-cheap for refurb

I'm after a replacement windscreen frame for my S2.

Don't need any glass,but do need the inner metal trims.

Plan is to strip the frame and if necessary get it re-galved before fitting heated windscreens.

Aaron just while i am waiting for paul to confirm he's got one, as I notice he's in Leeds(like me).
Whereabouts are you based ?

can you send me a photo + price
Are the ones you have both series 2/2A type with or without wiper holes.

What sort of state are they/the galvanising in?

sotty for the delay it my uncles screen,


he says he still ha it for a sII, the hinges are apparently not the best but its yours if you want it (iv not actually seen it so thats best description i can give at min sorry).

Hi Paul thanks for that.

Do you know if its got holes in for wipers (ideally I dont want them).

Can you PM me his contact no/address and let me know if he wants anything for it.

Hi there, hope someone can help

i am trying to locate the centre piece for the frame of my land rover series 2a windscreen, the previous owner removed the bar in the centre which splits the screen into two panes and installed a single sheet of glass. I have purchased new split-screen glass from paddocks so am in desperate need of the bar to refit the double screens. Does anyone have any idea where to obtain such an item and also is it absolutely necessary to have it?
