It's suddenly got a little desperate after being problomatic for a while.
The cog that engages in the drive spring is worn and on closer inspection the wrong way round....as in the slots are angled the wrong way.
It doesn't help that the keyed spindle bit the the arm pushes on to is seized so the only way to get it off is to cut and destroy it
Anyone got one they could pop in the post sharpish cause I can't go awaywhere if tis raining
