Hello,
Driving near Glenrothes, fife, Scotland, this late afternoon, and I swear I saw a series 1 107 station wagon painted in grey.
Surely my eyes were deceiving me but it definately had a square series 1 ear end and secondary doors.
Wasn't aware any had ever been made
Would have turned around and followed except the boss was with me who detests land rovers after years of wet feet in the old defender from bulkhead leaks.

Begins looking for one to buy....🙂
Did it look like this?

Oh yes indeed
I'm in love with my future second wife
It would cost more than the new wife….this photo was on its first outing on a classic car tour in cheddar gorge. It does get used a bit but as she has other classics they don’t get worn out.

Not seen any with the rear windows missing though

Series one 107 1955-1957 The 57 -58 models were 109. Extra 2 inch was added for the diesel engine option that became available.
There were station wagon,[pic above] pickup [ with canvas back option] and full hard top. No rear windows so what you may have seen.

Phwoa mind is currently blown. Beautiful machines. Born in wrong generation I was. Yes tottot I'd seen the pickup versions. But 100 percent certain was not a hardtop I saw today. Definately second row doors. May have had rear windows may not of
It was a fraction of a second glance and shouting profanities lol

The roads are gritted today why was it out. I sense I'll never see it again
You may see it spluttering its way around if it’s the early petrol engine. When it get too cold the carb ices up and stops the engine. By the time you open the bonnet the ice has melted & you can’t find the problem.

Second row doors has to be station wagon.
A neighbour had a 107 pickup and it had a "delux cab" with matts, door cards, two wiper motors, roof lining and a heater! Made my 63 2a feel rather bare.
