got your attention, good, now me and electrics go as far as if I get hold of one wire and then pick up another wire my eye balls start spinning. I need to fit new fog lights on the f2 (lenses is bust on the old ones) Powerful Uk aren't shipping out to Sweden at the mo so i found a Euralight set from Denmark but it says and I quote "Our 2in1 daytime running lights are manufactured for vehicles with serial fog lights. If your car does not have serial fog lights you’ll not only need corresponding covers but also a set with an extra on- and off switch for the fog lights." Now I don't think my lovely little is a mad rabid killer but is it a serial Freelander ? what ever a serial Freelander is or more accurately do I have serial fog lights? Maybe some of your more knowledgable boffins can shed some light (pun intended ;)) on the subject for me.

That makes no sense to me.
Do you have a link to these lights?
The fog lights on the FL2 have just 1 fuse, of a 15A rating, suggesting that both lights are on the same wire. The bulbs are type H11, which have a 12V 55W rating, so they are in parallel, on the same supply fuse.
I'd need to look at the item description, and probably translate it too, unless there's a wiring guide on the listing.

I'm thinking of adding DRLs to my FL2, using combination fog/DRL lamps from PowerfullUK, when funds allow.

serial as opposed to parallel circuit - ie 1 fuse?. could be ohms law kicking in both lights need feed with 1 wire (serial) to split the voltage across them which could impact the brightness or control of them?
if it was not serial and feed with a wire each, parallel, 12V to each lamp and extra brightness hence the need for a cover?

appreciate the time you guys are taking looking into this for me, I even get smoke from ears sometimes when I connect to me wires :)
It's in english so no worries with language

Ok. It's asking if the vehicle has factory fog lights, that's all.
However if you use the fog lights for seeing, you'll be disappointed with these lights. They are also massively overpriced, for the limited performance of the lights.
I'd see if you can get decent lights from a UK supplier. You use fog lights for seeing in fog, you need to find the type that has an optical lens, and not a basic reflector.
