Ahhh I misred, sounded like the tank was in the loadspace! :confused2:
Could put the filler inside the load space maybe in the corner of one of the arches where the rear lights are. Though your best bet as mentioned would to fit a second external filler where it usually goes on a TD5.

Yeah, that's kind of where I was thinking, though I guess it would be a pain having to get around the back door and into the very back corner.
The TD5 filler is inset and looks ok. The only way I can think of doing it is to cut a circular hole in the wing, which would look crap.
Another option is to fill it from inside the actual wheel arch. There is space, but then there is the risk of getting mud/water into the tank.
Edit: it currently sits like this, and I think the bit of downhill is what ruins everything!

you could fill up your normal tank and have the pump running to pump it into the secondary tank. Then pump it back into the main tank as / when.
Bodge solution to be fair but at least it gets it working

you can get a secondary filler which replaces one of the rear quarter panel windows. I cant remember who makes em.
I'll work it out and do it properly, just not sure how yet!

Hopefully the TD5 filler will fit straight into the pipe I already have connected to the tank, otherwise I am going to have to disassemble some stuff. Any ideas if the TD5 filler is the same size diameter around the fitting as a TDI? If not I can always measure my parents TDCI.

I think the hose should be the same size as the current one. I just hope it is long enough, or I am going to have to take the tank guards off which would not be fun...
Got any ideas on how to remove the wiper arms so I can recalibrate them when the grub screws are well and truly seized?!

use a good quality allen key - cheap ones will just round off the head.
I'm thinking drill them out and then try to get the remains out.
Either that or take the wiper motor apart again and see if I can calibrate them that way. I changed the wiper motor and now they sit a bit high and hit the edge of the frame

yeah generally that helps.
To be honest I think that even if the allen key hadn't been imperial I wouldn't have had much luck. After rebuilding the 90 I have had first hand experience of seized, and they are well seized!
