Recently bought a Seies 2 ES.

Regrettably, the prvious owner 'stored' his keys on the wooden trim between the gear lever and the Window/Elec Heated Seat switches, with the result that part of the wood trim is heavily scratched becuase of the movement of the keys.

Are there any remedies to remove the scratches and restore the original finish, or do I need a replacement panel ?

Thanks

Ian

Assuming it really is wood and not some sort of plastic made to look like wood, then all you can do is rub it down with some fine wet & dry to smooth the scratches out and then re-varnish it. Might be easiest to do the whole panel off the vehicle. Same as dealing with any damaged wood

Mine is the same, scratched after keys / mobi's etc being put under or by the cig lighter, I'm sure its plastic made to look like wood, sanding this down would destroy it im sure, no idea what cost of new one would (sorry) be. Any ideas, anyone ?
