OK, so it's through the MoT for another year of motoring mayhem, but a couple of cautionary notes for you all - pay attention to detail!
I failed to check for blown bulbs, and had to replace a pair of blown bulbs: a number plate bulb, and the rear offside position bulb as well; in addition, I forgot one of the the cardinal rules of DIY: Tighten, check again, and tighten. The fuel filter, which went on so easily, should have been checked for tightness of fit about a week after I fitted it. The Examiner noted that there was a "fuel leak offside rear" Oops. Lessons learned!
