Has anyone covered their seat box in rubber matting? Or chequer plate rubber?

Previous owner has used carpet, which now looks a mess after dirty boots. Ideally i want something that wipes off.

Any pictures would be great. Cheers

I have sound proof backed carpet. Had it on for nearly a year. Have been off road and got mud all over it. It does clean off with a good brush and hoover. I did want to get some sort of matting to put on it but couldn't really find anything that suited very well and provided the sound proofing I wanted.

If it is going to get mucky then why cover it at all?
I don't do carpets or sound deadening and my 90 has never been fitted with either of them. Took these photos this afternoon, 30-minutes earlier I had been hosing & washing it out.

I wish i could do the same. But under the carpet that the previous owner has put round the seat box, its abit of a state. And dont fancy rubbing down and spraying

you can normally find a 2nd hand OEM rubber mat set on ebay for £75, which fit nicely and tidy up the appearance no end.

I soundproofed mine first with matting from ebay too and it does work...
