So, as you might know Scratchy's coming to the end of his road.

I've been nicking bits to stick on Itchy but there's some other good stuff that needs to come off. The wheels, bumper, seats and snork are staying wiv me.

What I want is for folk to make me an offer. But you'll need to take things off and replace them with servicable parts so ee's still road-worthy. Ee's got a few months MOT so I want to sell him as a runner. Needs to be done by the end of next weekend so I can get 'im listed on eblag - unless someone on here makes me a good enough offer in the meantime.

The best bits...

X-brake - Drew's got first dibs 'cos he came out laning with me and Itchy yesterday
Series doors - really good fettle, no rust, good runners and new lock barrels. Any old doors could go back on.
Bearmach HD blue springs and terrafirma +2 shockers on the front
Bearmach HD drive flanges
Near-enough new front brakes - braided hoses, BM discs, calipers and pads
Sumo HD track rod and ends

Not sure what else...

Other bits that don't need replacing

Sliders - I'll check later to see if they'll fit on the Series, if not they're up for grabs
Galv steering guard
Rear tank guard
1.4 tranny box
10 spline diff
24 spline diff

Loads of other spares that I'll catalogue and list this week.

I want sensible offers - please don't message me asking how much I want for ____ . I need these bits gone quick but I'm not going to give them away.M'kay?

Drew carnt definitely commit to being able to get the x-brake swapped out next weekend - he'll let me know by Wednesday or Thursday. Anyone want second dibs..?

imo dom I think your gonna be hard pushed to get people to make you an offer and then have to remove and replace the parts they want.

your better off selling it as it is with a few decent parts on it to get a better sell price, put a higher buy now price on eblag with best offer then peeps will make you an offer for hopefully what u want.. ie if you wanted £1k put it up for £1500 with best offer you may be surprised that what peeps think is a cheeky offer could be what u wanted..

just my 5 pence worth good luck

5 pence??? Kinell there's inflation for ya

I dunno.....I'd have made a offer fer the doors if I weren't skinted and having mine on there wouldn't effect the value much.

Xbrake is a good selling point though....

Points taken. But I'm leaving the offer open in case anyone wants the bits. I'm still considering braking it - it'll mean renting a lock up and all the hassle that's involved. Need to realise as much as possible. If I was to sell the bits listed above, plus the axles, gearbox, enjun, etc separate I should get quite a bit over two grand I reckon...

If someone wants a few bits and are coming a fair way I have got a sofa bed so they're welcome to stop over (depending on who, exactly, they are. ROAR!)

interested in the Sumo Bars.

which bar/bars is it? Pictures please? :D

might be in for the front the front brake discs and callipers as well. i have a set of discs in the garage, just cant remember if there fronts or rears.

But definitely interested in the sumo bars, need pictures so i can see what other bits i ned to order.

Sorry Ginge, been busy.

It's a track rod, with both ends. A couple of pics of it in situ and the ticket from Gwyn...

Got to love the bits of Salisbury Plain still hanging off underneath!

I know, I got an email telling me so and a notification when I just checked "my replies" - so before I got here. Thanks for making sure I knew. ;)

[Sorry, these "you've got a PM posts make me laff.]

By the way, I've just sent you one back. Just so everyone else here knows!

Oh, and everyone else, looks like the doors are going at the weekend as long as we can sort the logistics.

Sems like i didnt read the bit where you wanted to do a swap for doors.

As far as the discs and pads go, how worn are they and are they britpart/oem/branded?

Ill offer you £xx posted for the sumo bar + whatever the brake discs and pads cost?

Thanks

Matt

Ah, you've misunderstood entirely - I want to keep the Landy road worthy so I can sell what's left as a runner. I'm going to have a word with some mates who brake 'em and see if I can find replacements for the bits you want.

The discs and pads are Bearmach. Would you not want the callipers too? They've only been on for about six months and haven't had a great deal of use.

The other thing I stipulated was that the buyer would have to come and remove the bits - I'm snowed under with work, other projects and my 2a. I'll see whether I can program it in..!

So, I'll get back to you.
