I could have put this in GREENLANES but it would be silly because alot of ya dont even go there so I have put it here to get a responce. I dont give a s*** if you have seen it anywhere else just if ya need ya lanes saving sign the dam thing..... Like the GOV are going to re open then......not a chance but at least we got more chance to save em.......

Slob don't give a monkeys cos' he's in France & for all the bad things you can say about the Frogs, at least they don't get uptight about people responsibly driving down byways that have been there for all traffic fer fekin years, if not centuries.

There's loads of bluddy brilliant byways around this part of Hampshire & nearby in Berkshire & I'm only just dicovering them. I be gutted if they were suddenly closed to me due to pressure from a buch of tools with their kex tucked in their socks!

Don't get me started, I can feel a rant coming on!

its not that i dint give a toss . do you really think the gov will pay any attention to it? there wur millions from all walks of life, protesting against the iraq war. what good did that do?..... none!
there were millions protesting against the fox hunting ban, what good did that do?... none.
so i dint think he's gonna pay much heed to a few hundred names on an interwebby page petition. not unless you can get george bush to put his name to it.

Totally agree, better to do sumat than nowt though I reckon. I'm just as cynical as you I'm sure Mr S & like you said to sumat else, if it were the Frogs & enough of them feel strongly enuff about stuff, they bring the whole feckin ****ry to a standstill (& most of them that has borders wiv them too)!

But this is England.........all hot air and no substance!!

My brother went on a protest when the fuel strike was on. He was one of the lorry drivers that blocked whitehall (he used to drive a "Bulker" (big tipper lorry). Didn't do any good thou.
My Dad used to belong to the NFU, he went on a protest march with them in Brussels to stop the imports of cheap foreign imported salad crops in the 80's..........didn't do any good!
My Mum used to belong to CND.........need I say how that went!

We winge and moan, but there are never enough people actually doing the ground work to make a change.
So we have to live with it................hey I didn't vote for this government anyway!

Nah, disagree.
Fuel prices DID go down because enough people made a noise.
Farmers couldn't compete with Europe even given the huge subsidies they're paid cos' they're all grumpy greedy gits.
No, there hasn't been nuclear disarmament but there hasn't been the same nuclear proliferation there was by the major players in recent years.
Sorry, but I'm itching fo a fight today & thankfully there ARE people around who do more than pointlessly moan.
Lastly, it doesn't matter who you vote for, the government always get in!
