I don't have any objections to getting muddy, wet or even stuck. What I have a problem wirh is only currently owning one pair of jeans and how I would "unstuck" myself which didn't involve me knee deep in water/mud and no change of clothes for the sunday :p

Go and buy a cheap pair of combats.:D

Brilliant pictures guys... looking forward to the 31st... I can see the banter's going to be non stop... as is the towing you guys are gonna be doing to get me out them holes!

Looks a tad muddier than I expected! Got myself a CB radio on order and gonna get rid of the tow bar and bottom of the front bumper before the trip to give myself half a chance!

Who will be taking the girlie route then?

ME! Have you SEEN what happens to a P38 when you get water inside it?? Great design, putting a fusebox and the biggest, most complicated, vital and EXPENSIVE computer in it under the driver's seat!!

There's a reason nobody makes snorkels for P38s...

Incidentally, is anyone else bringing a P38... Or am I the only one brave (stupid) enough?

the td5 defender has the same and it aint even water tight

See I reckon you're thinking about this the wrong way round.......

If only I could improve the leakiness of me Series just a little then the water would actually drain out faster than it comes in :eek:

funny enough thats the twist the manager in yeovil land rover tried on me when i showed him the mud and water in my ECU box under the seat on me td5 90

i havent been following the thread......

where are we meeting? is it at the same place as last time?
are we then driving up to salisbury? only asking as if we are i probably wont drive all the way down there to then drive half way back up again

would probably meet somewhere?

fok it, i'll go to the same place then, actually, i dont know if 110woman is making cakes this time, but she's following me, so i might just go wherever i want and keep all the cake :p

Im sure there was a P38 there the last time we went and i dont think he had any problems

JP organised that - so us coming down the A303 could escort the cakes to Salisbury;).

I suggest Hook services for those coming down the M3, then the Wheatsheaf hotel @ RG25 2BB for us basingstokites. then the Service station for JP & 110.

I think it was Solstice Park????
