you're knee deep in water when someone spills a glass of water over short arseI don't have any objections to getting muddy, wet or even stuck. What I have a problem wirh is only currently owning one pair of jeans and how I would "unstuck" myself which didn't involve me knee deep in water/mud and no change of clothes for the sunday
