Sankey trailer spares

Hi all. I'm looking for a new spring loaded locking pin - the one for locking the steady legs down/up - see pic
. currently locked in up position by a nut and bolt. Safe enough but a pain in the proverbial when it comes to dropping the leg down. I've trawled good old www (eBay, LR Spares etc) but no luck so far except for one site where they are out of stock and no dates for restocking.

I'll ring Blanchard's this morn but and help much appreciated

You’ve used the avenues I was going to suggest. The only other worth trying is the ex military Land Rover association who might have details of suppliers or someone with sankey spares.

Might be worth looking at some of the agricultural suppliers for a similar pin of the correct size. Might not be the original sankey but still better than a bolt. Lots of agri implements use similar style pins.

Try https://milweb.net/classifieds.php trouble is youll be lost for hours n end up wanting to buy somit else lol.

Thanks all. Checking out the links.
Thanks dag019 - saw that pin on eBay. Pic shows that it looks somewhat shorter than the Sankey pin.
Also my mate a Landy restorer is going to the Peterborough auto jumble and he's agreed to keep an eye open for one. Failing all else it's make one. I'll keep the thread up to date.

Whereas I do not have the dimensions to hand as my sankey is not currently at home a quick google for "swivel lock pin" give lots of different options and sizes so you should be able to find something even if it is not specifically for a sankey.

Cheers - Just emailed www.thexmod.com Showing out of stock. Looked at general trailer locking pins - as you say loads of them and sword pins. Need to get to trailer and check the size of the one fitted. Thanks again. The chase goes on.
