Does anyone know of some good places on salisbury plain ? , planning a trip this sunday 29/06/08 but have never been before and dont wanna spend allday looking for the mud ! , all are welcome to join us .

Dummy village ? . i've seen pics of the village but have no idea where its located is there a place close by that would help me find it ? because have been told that the plain is a huge place

You're also in the wrong section. The Plain is V muddy in places, but they are still ROADS, therefore you would be greenlaning, not offroading. There's also a lot of SSIs, so don't just drive all over it thinking it's a free pay & play site, cuz it's not.

I would read the GLASS code of conduct in the Greenlaning section & apart from the obvious bombholes follow the rules.

Don't worry we are not about to go down there causing havoc, its just that i've never been down there but have heard good things about it, and don't want to go to a pay and play before the billing show always do to much damage .
Have seen loads of pics on the net of the plain but it didn't look very muddy , lots of gravel tracks .
