Mine were squeeling anorl til the alt belt fell orf today.....tis much quieter now
theres ya prob, ya dumb toad . CB's dont have an Alternator.

So I take it that, generally speaking, is a no then.....only ever to seem to have a working cb when I've no use fer it
I got a spare, no idea if it works or not. I'll try and give it a test today. No beer tokens rrquired..!
Fanks for the stater motor, works well it does. Kinda thinking I shoulda caked the gears in grease when it went back in.
So it's not out of place on Scratchy. Not got round to testing the CB yet - on to the leccies next.
Has anyone got two steely wheel nuts they could bring along? I somehow lost a couple - probably something to do with all the bouncing around on the chippie run!
re the leccies..... design all finished. just gotta wire up the internals . yu will need a couple more relays. yu thinking of wiring up roof lights?
you might need a 'trishan to wire in the noo fusebox.
