Hi,
I'm looking for a 90 at present and almost certainly prices are being overly inflated. I think its now getting to the point that people who are genuinely interested and know what they want are just waiting it out until the current frenzy is over and things settle down.
Ebay seems to be the worst for this - Gumtree and Preloved prices are a little more realistic.
Purely speaking as someone actively looking to buy (even though yours would be out of my league anyway!) I think the price is certainly putting people off. You may get more joy putting on a reserve and opening up bidding a little lower to get things moving, rather than going the classified route.
Hope you don't mind the twopenneth.
Cheers
I both agree and dis-agree. Prices at the mo are high,or people are trying to sell high, they are being ridiculous and trying to cash in on the end of production and asking silly money for stuff that are sheds.
James' is a fantastic example, restored examples have always commanded high prices, or at least advertised as such, just as they are now, nothing has changed with that, just the lower priced ones have got higher.
And as someone else who has advertised their 90 lately, the price I put it up at is the same as I would have done 6 months a year ago.
