Looking good Robb :)
Pics look good to me and better then my phone as it aint got a camera

Cheers Aaron! :D

Haha. Simplicity at its best. If It calls and texts what more do you need! ;)

Still hoping to have some better quality one later on if my mate pulls his finger out! The first lot were taken with his SLR and definitely better but took him 3 weeks almost to get them to me!

Think he has a few more of me stuck too :D

More photos of today at Muddy Bottom. :D

Some definitely stuck pics...... Was deeper than it looked! :D

Kinda surprised I didn't rip off me new arches! Held up well! :)

Then the bit that caused the mess underneath in the pic in my previous post.

Very steep drop in, huge ruts, very muddy, and a big climb out!

Had to fill the ruts in front of the front wheels to be recovered sideways. :p

And just chilling on a hill! :D

Cheers Aaron! :D

I'm the same! Tis why I have a case that's 3 time larger than the phone itself! :D keeps it safe though when I can arsed to put it in.

And cheers there's loads more to come yet! plus a couple of videos! :D

Getting stuck is the best bit! Would be boring otherwise! :p

Absolutely love it, more of Land rover's doing what they are supposed to!!

That site looks really good too.

Cheers Chris!

She definitely got some abuse today! Isn't much paint left on my front diff pan that's for sure! :p

Yea the sites amazing! It's not huge but it's great fun and very challenging. Lots of mud too. :D

Personally I prefer it to another site right on my doorstep which is probably 4 times the size. :)

So small update.

I think the mud has killed my alternator. :(

Battery has got very sluggish since the weekend. Also my tachometer jumps randomly. Could be a dodgy connection but haven't really got the time to look until Saturday.

Tbh I'm not surprised this was the state of the engine bay after Sunday. :p

Think I better get the jet wash in there.
As I'm looking at fitting a 2nd battery and a simple split charge system thought now would be a good a time as any to upgrade the alternator so have ordered a new 100amp jobbie just in case the alternator is on its way out. :)

Also the interior wasn't much better than the engine bay :D

Tis exactly what I thought when I opened the bonnet! :p

The whole thing needs a bloody good wash. The interior isn't the most pleasant place to be either atm. It stinks and is generally very damp.

She does look good covered in mud though :D

Aye, I kinda agree, I just like to keep me arse wet nowadays, had enough of that in the past.
Just try not to kill the alternator next time :p

Alternator will likely recover pal

When I was king of all things mud holey back in the day mine was always passing out

Used to douse it in water and a couple of taps from the hammer to bring it back to life on a pnp then a good wash out when home (sometimes even removed and thrown in a bucket to soak) kept it going for years to come

I still have it, noisy bearings forced removal but it still works :)
