I would like to improve the brightness and range or the reverse lights on my 2013 RR Vogue 4.4 D.

Any member recommend a method?
Thinking about a pair of LED lamps, will I be able to link into existing reverse wires to trigger a relay? for the new lights, without screwing the can up?
where can I find a feed for the relay at the rear.
would of course like the lamps to be reasonably discreet, no light bars on the roof, anyone gote some fitted, any photos.

regards

Halfrauds do extra bright LED reversing lamps "only for use off-road" that are very good. ;-)

I also mounted an LED spot under the car by the tow-bar with a relay triggered by the reverse lamps feed. That is awesome in the dark and gloom out in the stick when off-road.

The reversing lights are matched to the sensitivity of the rear camera, if you're not getting a clear picture, maybe look at the camera rather than the lighting. Reversing lamps are more to give any vehicles behind an indication of your direction of travel, illumination of the surroundings are a secondary benefit, which is why the brightness is pegged at 2 x 21W, or the LED equivalent.

hi, i took my light assembly out and it looks like i have to replace the whole thing, seems a bad design if inly 1 light is not working. im assumming i will have to add a more powerful reverse light ?
Similar issue on my Son's Jag XF. Some of the LED's in the indicator had failed so only 75% works, but it caused the other end to flicker when operating. We had to replace the entire cluster with the indicator, stop & tail rather than a simple bulb. Yet another silly examply of "progress".
