Restart problem with a Disco 1

Hi looking for my first LR, decided on a Disco rather than a P38a ( which I really want, but ecus etc ) have seen 99 plate Disco 3.9 with an LPG conversion, but it has the following fault, starts ok when cold but when warmed up will not restart needs to be left to cool down then starts ok. Just wondering what sort of problems I might be buying it I get it?

chances are its an ignition timing fault, or perhaps more likely a faulty coolant/fuel temp sensor for the fuel injection system.

always a risk when buying a land rover!
