Had a bit of a search but couldn't find anything.

I'm going to replace my brake hoses with extended brake hoses and as I haven't done them before I'm after a bit of an idiots guide on the best way to do them.

Cheers for any advice.

Are you fitting a lift kit?

There's no really trick as far as I know. You need a couple of spanners to undo them off the solid copper tubes and same to put the new ones back on.

I guess I'd say be careful not twist the solid copper fittings too much if they wont spin on the copper. Otherwise you may damage the solid tubes themselves.

I'm not sure if there are any tricks of the trade to minimise the brake fluid that will pour out. I'd say just have something underneath so as not to pour it all over the floor.

Ah couldn’t clamp my brake hose as ah’ve got the braided ones on so ah took off the cap on the reservoir, stuck a piece of plastic bag over the hole and stuck a spare cap on to minimize the flow of brake fluid (works for rubber hoses too)…

Not fitting a lift kit but I am fitting +2" shocks onto standard springs so I am fitting some extended brake hoses.

Just a bit worried about stopping the brake fluid from spilling out when changing them as I haven't done them before.

Cheers
