But isn't that an Android phone ? Not gonna work with EAS Unlock.I recently bought a Huawei mate 10 pad thingy. It cost me 260€. 32gb and it'll make calls if needed.
Bluetooth to connect to my car and home stereo.
Big enough to write on without finger fumbles on the keypad.
And..... Flip.. I Forgot.....
Tbh, I've no idea. Is it really? But isn't that an Android phone ? Not gonna work with EAS Unlock.
Your right, wont do the job needed.Tbh, I've no idea. Is it really?
But how do you connect it to the OBD ?On going through a previous thread. A windows based tablet will run the EAS software. Some are doing it and a reply from Storey Wilson in the thread confirms it. Now the next thing wonder if my lads are feeling generous for when fathers day comes around this year
hi there @RubberkneesThe battery is dying on my old lap top I use for my EAS software. Do I try and replace it? or invest in a windows 10 tablet. I only use existing laptop for the EAS but I could use new tablet for other things as well is my line of thought.
USB to RS232 adapter with a micro USB connector from tabletBut how do you connect it to the OBD ?
All the batteries I can find don't match my spec. The more expensive ones £40 to£60 will fit but the power specs are higher than what is on my batteryhi there @Rubberknees
i have an old pair of laptops.. and im not wanting to pay more and get less ,new more expensive models have no cd drive built in them unless you pay out big money
so i went on the bay and bought new batteries for both,£21 each..quick deliver and last a long time between charging, so for me they worked out well, could be worth a try.
