Insurance are paying out, then hiking the premiums up - was on the limit affording running costs and such, but the premiums will more than double after this claim and another going through the system, leaving me with no slack for unforseen problems, so just can't justify another landy - will use my spare cash to have John Craven beaten up instead....

Well that sounds like an admirable endeavour. Seriously though, try shopping around for the insurance, the NFU piled a fair bit on mine when i had to claim for my land rovers, but i managed to find a quote that was nearly £500 cheaper for all the vehicles

Sorry to hear the unhappy end to this, I lost a defender few years ago (like many) and know how sh1t it can be.

I'm in the area and rest assured if I catch some one trying to nick mine I'll let you know their outcome / post pictures.

I hate defender teft and the cr4p response by the police, I reported mine, they didn't come out and heard nothing for months until one day I got a letter telling me they were no longer investigating it! very poor. And I don't want to start on insurance companies, their the worst!



If your ever missing the LR experience I'll be more than happy to go out on a days laning as the company would be nice (provided I ever get mine running!)
