Anyone got an exactish location - called police, but they won't go and look for it without and exact location being given. FFS, there's only two roads in bloody bramley....

Called police - they attended it this morning and are awaiting the council to recover it, so post pics if you wish, MUCHO thanks for your help in locating mate, at least I can get the insurance sorted now....

Worst part is, this coupled with a couple of minor claims last yeat means there is now way i can afford insurance now, so a cheap nasty ford awaits, and my next landrover will have to wait til I live somewhere safer and have some no claims.....

In the meantime, here she is in happier times....on one of the greenlanes a few miles away....

Bast*rds!! Hopefully the police will find out who it was, or better still someone else on here will! and then prehaps we could give them the same treatment they gave your landy!

Its good that you found it and can get insurance its a shame that its in such a state!

Feel for you mate! hopefully you can rejoin the landy community again!

here yu go in all its glory :(.

Really sorry to hear about this. Did you have any security devices fitted Kevin? I know it's a little late if not but if you did it is more likely to be professionals who will strip it in no time. If it could have been taken by a chancer (no security to remove) there is probably more chance of it being found abandoned and hopefully not too badly damaged.

Can you tell me you have cut and pasted what I wrote on the first page? No mind of your own perhaps!

UNIVERSAL GSM CAR ALARM SYSTEM ENGINE REMOTE START KIT | eBay UK

Something like this, but with the cheap "jammers" avaliable on ebay, a well equiped landy gang will probably always activate a jammer just in case.

Take it from some one that knows slot about jammers (ECM) they do not work that well and chances are it will not know or be able to scan and react to a fook load of gsm signals and that is if you are using gsm.

In short unless the ****ers have a full sweet of ECM witch would stick out like a sore thumb with all the antennas they would need.

Just realised I haven't been and and thanked people. Although I'll not be able to get her back in one piece, or afford to replace her, at least forum member's open eyes have been able to find what happened and got the insurance ball rolling. Big thanks madhat and others, much appreciated - see you all in a few years when I save up enough to replace her...

That's very interesting, i was thinking of getting a GPS tracker for my new land rover since both my old ones got stolen in one night, but the fact that there were loads of jammers for sale made me think it might not be worth it.

This seems cheap enough, don't know if it's any good or not.

Ok the phone type it can use is GSM or GPRS type it uses SMS(short message service) text messgeages to let you know what is going on To jamm this you would need a fair bit of kit that I would not go into on an open forum. Don't want undesirables to get that info but for cormersal jammers to work there needs to be alot going on in there favour for them to to put up an ECM bubble. Cheap jammers normally cant cope and will get overridden.
