Im presently a member of Green Flay driver cover £95.00 per anum. Only to be told that my 1962 landrover is not covered.

What is the best option ?

I have Green Flag any vehicle £95.00 but just found out will not cover a car over 10 years and they want another £64.00 to cover.

Just tried to dig my Green Flag policy out, cant find it.... I have 2 cars, the 'named' one is my VW Passat.
I gave them a ring and the Personal Cover only covers vehicles upto 16 years old... so I am okay with my 1997 Defender.
I have Recovery....ie they will try and fix, if not take veh and upto 6 passengers home. No homestart.....

I paid £65.10p for that....I have just confirmed this on the phone

Purdy.... not sure if they have not told you about the 16yr rule when you took it out with them but I would certainly take it up with them on the phone. Ask if they will cut you a deal to make you happy and you can tell people how good Green Flag is. Tell them that I got a deal for £65.10p six months ago and ask how can that be? Be nice... it really does work... if it dont work and its the final answer then slag em off!!!
Maybe you have homestart/Recovery plus that costs extra? But it shouldn't be £95???

Personal cover | Breakdown cover | Green Flag

Good luck....

Wait till you get the bill for next year :)
I agree you gotta watch em....Had 2 people on it last year recovery/homestart the lot for less than £140 this year they wanted over £100 extra thats why i cancelled and had a single policy on a rolling monthly contract

i was covered with me insurance on the landy and by red pennant(green flag for those with pikey wagons) on anything else.
