so my parcel arrived yesterday with new shocks and springs, now ive found a decent write up on how to do the front end,but cant seem to find anything on how to tackle the rear end replacement.hopefully going to tackle the rear shocks and springs tomorrow weather permitting, just wondering if theres an easy way to get the job done?

Jack back end up until wheels are clear of floor support chassis rails on axle stands and springs will pop out easily enough once the spring retaining plates are unbolted. shocks will be self evident. Once ya have a look at em.

The rear end stuff is easier than the front if you've got the setup I'm thinking of. When I replaced the shocks on my 300Tdi 110 the front I ended up putting the front axle onto a couple of axle stands then using a Hi-Lift and the normal jack lifted the front of the bodywork reasonably high to allow a pipe-wrench in through the springs.

The back you can simple unbolt (assuming the unbolting is simple), never done springs though, if you've got leafs then I can help out (it was a b**ch to align them up on the new chassis)...
