It looks like my rear shock absorbers on my classic have seen better days.

The car still has the air suspension which i intend to keep. Can anyone recommend a decent set of rear shockers, the car is not used for mud plugging so no need for offroad extreme ones.

Can anyone recomend some for normal road driving, i have seen Britpart ones and Monroe and wondered if anyone had any views/ opinion or advice.

Forgot to mentioned; i would prefer a soft comfy ride rather than hard sporty!

I have Monroe Adventure shocks on the rear of my 1994 EAS soft dash, they're pretty good if you ask me, no complaints! Will be getting a matching set for the front at some point.

Any pics of your car? Sounds very similar to mine!

Mike, it's a 94 softdash, green with grey leather, I am sorting a few minor bits and bobs of body work out, but coming from a string of tvr's I am used to it!!!

I also have a 91 vogue (none SE) not quite as clean but more useable and less to go wrong!!

some sale's wallers will try to tell you that eas classics have the same shocks as disco . Bollocks they caught me out with that one , rides firmer now than my old lower vw beetle , hope you get better luck . Land rover told me the correct shocks with a differant part number to disco were £215 a set !!!!

Sounds good! What else is wrong with it? I've got a whole thread going on here about mine, sounds a similar car - mine is an Ardennes green with cream leather. Funnily enough my last RRC was a 1991 Vogue SE, I really liked that car but the footwells were rusty and it wasn't on LPG so cost a fortune to run!

Yeah, they're different - different mounting points and I believe a different damping rate, too.
