hi peeps just finished putting air suspension back on me disco, while doin the n/s i noticed that the plate that holds the mudflap and rear wing in place had rotted away so ive ordered one with bracket from my local lr dealer ,on asking for a price for them to fit it i was gobsmacked when they said 80pound plus vat ,
are they that hard to fit I dont use garages as a rule ,i like to mess my self but it appears ive got man cancer so the boss wont let me mess any more any help welcomed :D

When mine went I took it off and made a new one out of 18g steel nad bent it to shape, looks just like the original and cost pence

Just fitted these recently. Got them off e bay. £30 odd for two I think. If you can avoid it, don't remove rivet that holds top of the bracing bracket to the underneath of boot floor, unless you have a pop rivet gun large enough to pop rivets supplied with new kit. Also where new plate fits to wing, I used small bolts instead of rivets for the same reason. Mud flaps are a bugger to remove from rusted brackets without damaging them!!!

thanks difflock 66 i did the suspension while the boss was out shopping still gettin over the ear ache ,thanks to everyone else for the advise but it looks like the wallet will haveto come out me kids are givin me ear ache aswell .
