Got you!!!! Fookin stupid idea though!! You would only have your door open for a brief moment !! Well I've got indicators in bumper and up top now and stop and tail also!!
Fookin idiots who designed landrovers

Go on why did they put the indicators in the bumper for the 300 tdi s ?

& yes I do know
Have a few guesses
Because when the 300 series was introduced in 1995 it didn't have indicators in the upper lights. The door issue had been identified with the 200 series, so the indicators were removed from the tail light fitting and placed in the rear bumper along with an additional tail light.

Will take photos of mine in morning mate I had to splice wires and add another terminal Into my connector block to get the stop and tail indicators from me bumber to up a height lights Piece a piddle! But mine was early disco converting to later disco !!
I really didn't know meastros had the same lights
Thanks. Much appreciated

In certain countries the 200Tdi spare covering the rear light cluster was identified and it was mandated that the vehicle carry a red warning triangle and that it be deployed when ever the rear door was opened.

I recently carried out this conversion on my 98 300TDI and it was a piece of cake. Essentially all that was needed was to find and connect a loose wire entering the connector block that had never been connected from the factory, if I remember correctly it was on the nearside, I found it just hanging loose with some insulation tape wrapped around the end of it. I removed the insulation tape and found that it even had the correct fitting on the end and just needed to be pushed in to the connector block and that was it, once it was all connected up everything worked exactly as it should.
