@neilly
You are correct. Turn your hazards on and open the back door. Spare tyre covers the drivers side.
Go on why did they put the indicators in the bumper for the 300 tdi s ?
& yes I do know
Have a few guesses
Learning now!!! Mines a V8 so that's why I had bumper lightsAfter owning one for twenty years + I know... Because the V8s had them.
Fookin idiots who designed landrovers
You pulling my leg hereFirst Range Rover had no cigarette lighter or ashtray as the designer did not smoke.,.
Because when the 300 series was introduced in 1995 it didn't have indicators in the upper lights. The door issue had been identified with the 200 series, so the indicators were removed from the tail light fitting and placed in the rear bumper along with an additional tail light.Go on why did they put the indicators in the bumper for the 300 tdi s ?

Lucky bugger! I converted a 94 with no top indicators are stop lights with 97 indicator and stops!!I recently carried out this conversion on my 98 300TDI and it was a piece of cake. Essentially all that was needed was to find and connect a loose wire entering the connector block that had never been connected from the factory, if I remember correctly it was on the nearside, I found it just hanging loose with some insulation tape wrapped around the end of it. I removed the insulation tape and found that it even had the correct fitting on the end and just needed to be pushed in to the connector block and that was it, once it was all connected up everything worked exactly as it should.
