can anybody help? how do you get open a rear door that has packed up working, if i can get it off i can go from there

U mean one of the rear doors or tail door? .....untill then regardless of that u need help from the inside ...... try to open it from the inside and outside at the same time.
Tha taildoor made this kind of tricks o me too..... i locked and unlocked the car from the internal switch several times and finally it opened....after that i greased well the whole latch and no probs since.

if its the tail door (boot) then you can remove the door card from the inside and unlock it manually from the mechanism

yeah its the tailgate, and i have the card off . the handle is not broke and button goes up and down. when you pull handle it acts like its still locked. ive had me hand in and a pick but cant seem to find anything that will slide to unlock it. cheers for your ideas guys
